Bwambale has agreed to help bring the Humanist message to the Mother Giver Nursery School, and to provide periodic inspections to ensure any projects there are being carried out well with your donations.

 Bringing piped water to the Mother Giver site is currently our top priority for that site. Today, the children must walk over two miles for water, and that is to an unprotected well full of pathogens. Diseases children get due to dirty water include diarrhea, scabies, cholera, typhoid fever, and worm infections.  Water is not convenient nor ample and so the children often go without hand washing, bathing and clean clothes. 

There is clean water available that is piped down from the mountains, but the project to tie the Mother Giver community in to this water costs $3,900. The Buhanga Thulibaghuma women are asking for our help to fund this important water-works project. 

The women have provided an itemized list with prices of all of the pipes, valves, bricks, tools and labor that are required. If you are interested in funding the project and would like to see the details, please contact us at info@bizoha.org.
